Zorbas and Sons Public Ltd was founded in Athienou on 1st of October 1975 from Mr Andreas Zorbas. In 22/11/1979 it was established as a Limited Company with the main activity the production and sales of bakery products.
In 1988 after the continuous success and the positive response from the consuming public the company extended in the province of Nicosia.
On 9th of March 2000 Zorbas Bakeries went public and on the 27th of December of same year the company joined the Cyprus Stock Market.
With the passage of time the Company grew and developed extending its activities in the production and sales of homemade like cooked food for take away, catering services, Zorbas Pizza and sandwiches, meeting the needs of the Cypriot consumer.
With a 32 years success progress and by achieving a very fast growth for the Cyprus Market, the small bakery in Athienou transformed into a Group of Companies which until today is based on the same human approach and values since the beginning.
The main activity of the company is the production, distribution and sale of fresh pastry and confection products. The company today has 45 stores all over Cyprus (20 in Nicosia, 9 in Limasol,9 in Larnaca, 3 in Famagusta and 4 in Paphos) and three production units in Aradippou Industrial Area, equipped with the latest of technology.
Moreover, in the Group are included a company of cooling services Ancopa Cooling Ltd and the Confectioneries Pralina.
Fundamental concern of the company is the guarantee of the fine quality and hygiene of products with respect to the needs of the modern consumer.
The company is certified with the international certificate HACCP for the production and distribution of confections and pastry products, pointing out the significance that is given in the continuous control of quality and safety of foods.
